Nkuku Zaani Glass Vase

The attractive asymmetric shape of these Zaani glass vases gives them a charming and individual feel. Handblown into a simple mould, the irregular shape is enhanced with a deep blue colour tone. Mix sizes and shapes for a striking display; fill with dried flowers, foliage or vibrant blooms. Made from recycled glass. Firstly, the waste glass is collected and washed to remove any impurities; it is then crushed and melted down before being hand blown or placed in moulds to create beautiful new products. From the outset they were inspired and humbled by the talented craftspeople and their beautiful work, that we met on the journey. It then encouraged them to do something different, so on their return, they moved to rural Devon and started working with artisans throughout the world, supporting and celebrating their skills by bringing their products to a wider audience.
