This solid brass paperweight is pleasingly tactile and heavy for its size.

The paperweight comes in a smart kraft brown box and is cast from solid brass. There used to be a product that could be found in the Innovations catalogue that claimed to remove the scent of onions from your hands without the need for soap and there is something of that product reminiscent in the shape and form of this.

It also reminds me of the spinning rocks that David Worthington was sculpting in the first decade of this century, some of which can be seen on his website.
