Nkuku Folded Danta Frame

The Danta folding frames have a traditional folding design. The double aperture is framed with antique brass metal, skilfully soldered around the glass with traditional tools. This handmade process means that there are weld marks on the joins of each piece, a feature that we love as it tells the story of how the product is made.. The see-through design adds to the elegance of the frame. From the outset they were inspired and humbled by the talented craftspeople and their beautiful work that they saw. It then encouraged them to do something different, so on their return, they moved to rural Devon and started working with artisans throughout the world, supporting and celebrating their skills by bringing their products to a wider audience.
