This planter is made from metal that has been reclaimed from old storage drums. The finish of the planter almost has the appearance of aged leather and has something of the warmth of that look while being solid and robust. The form of the planter is particularly pleasing when it has a plant inside it, the gentle taper of the sides offsetting the lush foliage. We have photographed it here with a fatsia.

The pot has drainage holes in it so you can plant directly into it; alternately you can just place your plastic-pot-housed plant in it as it is to get the immediate benefit. As these planters are hand made no two are exactly the same.
